Be Productive
I always used to tell myself how productive I was being. In my head I thought I was working on my business, getting lots done and the results just weren’t coming.
I was doing the wrong things when it came to producing results. I watched YouTube videos of other networkers all day long, I would click on their links and read their sites. Always trying to learn the next great marketing strategy. After four hours of “working” on my business I would pack it in until the next day.
I used to be one of the 97% of networkers that fail. I wasn’t taking any action, I learned all these great strategies, but I wasn’t putting any of them into play. Are you?
These activities are NOT productive:
-Listening to training calls that are unnecessary
-Learning how to use tools
-Looking at other people’s marketing sites and YouTube pages
-Reading and personal development
Don’t get me wrong, these things are all very important. But if you remember the 80/20 rule than you will know that you should spend 80% of your time doing productive activities like:
-Make forum posts that contribute to the community (creates value for yourself)
-Create content – videos, articles, Squidoo lenses
-Adding new groups, ad campaigns and keywords to PPC advertising
My recommendation for time management when it comes to learning and actually implementing would be for every 2 hours of learning and personal development, you should put in 8 hours of result producing activities like the ones listed above. And those are just a few of your many options.
To your Massive Success,
